COMING SOON CRYO-FRACTURE SERIES™ Custom Scale-Matrix Blends
CRYO-FRACTURE SERIES™ Custom Scale-Matrix Blends (Premium Borosilicate Glass)
Take your custom soft plastics to a state of absolute structural realism.
The CRYO-FRACTURE Series™ is a premium line of custom-milled borosilicate glass frit engineered exclusively for serious bait makers. Unlike basic organic micas that cloud your plastic or standard craft glitters that look unnatural underwater, Cryo-Fracture glass particles fuse directly into hot plastisol to build a physical, crystalline scale-matrix.
By combining dense opaques, shifting translucents, and high-heat glass sparkles, these curated, secret blends mimic the multi-angled iridescence, tactile texture, and scattered light refraction of living baitfish scales.
THE CRYO-FRACTURE MASTER BLENDS
Select your weapon from our elite 5-blend lineup, meticulously balanced to deliver unmatched visual drama under the water:
-
1. HYDRA SLICK (The Chemical Chaos Core Match)
- The Profile: Featuring Black Violet, Peacock Blue, Double Passion, and Clear Frit.
- The Action: The ultimate replication of a raw, fluid gasoline sheen on water. Solid opaque teal cuts through a deep, smoky purple-black base, while translucent purplish-pink accents flash continuously as the lure swims.
- Best Paired With: Mix into crystal-clear plastisol or inject as a laminate layer running alongside our CC-03: Oil Slick pigment.
-
2. EXOTIC BLUEGILL (The Tournament Panfish Special)
- The Profile: Featuring Peacock Blue, Paparazzi (Sparkle Green), and Clear Frit.
- The Action: Recreates the exact shimmering turquoise and emerald scales found along the gill plates and bellies of mature sunfish. Opaque Peacock grounds the profile, while green sparkle glass catches high-noon sunlight.
- Best Paired With: Drop this directly into a translucent smoke, motor oil, or light watermelon laminate belly.
-
3. DEEPWATER NIGHTSHADE (The Stealth Shadow Matrix)
- The Profile: Featuring Black Violet, Cobalt-5 (Deep Blue), and Double Passion (Purple/Pink Translucent).
- The Action: A 100% translucent, light-absorbing dark matrix. In thick grass mats or deep water, it casts a sharp, solid black shadow silhouette. But when a fish looks up through the bait toward the sky, the light completely illuminates a rich, manganese purple and cobalt scale pattern.
- Best Paired With: Elevate your dark master batches of Junebug, Black Grape, or black/blue flipping jigs.
-
4. TOXIC PEACOCK (The High-Visibility Stained Water Attractor)
- The Profile: Featuring Peacock Blue, Shamrock (Solid Opaque Green), and Paparazzi (Sparkle Green).
- The Action: An aggressive, solid-pigment combo that skips translucent tones entirely. Thick opaque teal and vibrant opaque green pack together to create a loud, dense scale texture that refuses to fade out in muddy, stained backwaters.
- Best Paired With: Complements our AZ-02: Apex Acid (Neon Green) colorway or serves as a striking belly plate on heavy-thump reaction swimbaits.
-
5. ZOMBIE SHAD (The Bruised Wounded Prey Attractor)
- The Profile: Featuring Black Violet, Dragon's Blood (Red/Amber), and Clear Frit.
- The Action: Replicates the bruised, hemorrhaging tissue of a dying or heavily stressed shad. Clear glass facets provide a natural scale shine, framing raw internal bleeding red accents and cold, dark purple bruising.
- Best Paired With: Pour into a semi-translucent "Ghost" white or light pearl-gray fluke and jerk shad body.
CRITICAL WORKBENCH RECIPE & POURING TIPS
Borosilicate glass behaves differently than standard glitter. Follow these bench protocols to get flawless, production-quality results every single time:
- Roll Before You Pour: Because opaque glass frits carry a different structural weight than high-sparkle translucent variants, particles can settle during shipping. Gently roll or tumble your Cryo-Fracture jar right before opening to ensure a perfectly uniform blend ratio.
- The Golden Ratio (Start Small): Borosilicate glass is highly concentrated. Start your test batches by adding 1 level micro-scoop (0.15cc) to 1/2 a teaspoon per 4 ounces of raw plastisol. Adding too much glass will thicken your plastic, add excess weight, and deaden the natural tail action of delicate swimbaits.
- Temperature Lockout: Bring your raw plastisol to its full conversion temperature of 350°F (177°C) until it is completely smooth and glass-clear before folding in your Cryo-Fracture powders. Never reheat your plastic repeatedly with glass frit mixed in, as excessive localized microwave heat can scorch neighboring pigments.
- Prevent Sinking (Keep Moving): Glass micro-particles are denser than plastic. Do not let your heated pouring pot sit idle on the bench. Give the liquid a gentle, steady stir right before drawing it into your injector or tipping it into an open pour mold to guarantee an even scale distribution from head to tail.
